It's cold and windy and I love it!! I work with a bunch of weenies though because they are all complaining. I can't wait for it to get colder!
Madison can almost count 1 thru 10. You have to get her started with one, then she gets to 3, 4, 5, 6 she skips 7, and either 8 0r 9 and l0ves 10! She loves for you to sing, ABC's, the Barney "I love you," and Itsy bitsy spider. She will pretty much dance to anything you sing though. Oh ya there's another Barney song, "Snapping turtle" that she likes to. She calls cookies, "Wookies." She loves the airplanes that fly over the house now, and school buses, and of courses she always says,"Bye airplane, Bye bus," and waves like crazy. When Bandit is in the backyard barking, she will yell from the other side of the house, "Bandit, Bandit Hush!" The "d" is silent though when she says Bandit, so it's more like Banit. She will not stop pulling on Morris tail, and the dumb cat just sits there and lets her, with a meow in my direction. So I free him and instead of running he just continues to sit there and she goes after him again. Noodles, and rice are still her favorite foods, that and toast. She knows all her colors and loves to look thru picture books and name the items. Madison loves to be outside. All. the. time!
I took her for her 2yr/Christmas photos last week and they are already back, so I will get them scanned in tonight and get them posted. Madison is getting tubes put in her ears on December 4th at 10am. It is a quick procedure, but they still have to put her under for it. She will be out for about 15 minutes, and then it's a 2 hr recovery. She is not aloud to have anything to eat or drink past midnight, so that is going to make for a really bad morning leading up to the procedure. The girl drinks milk like it is crack so I am worried about that part. I just hope it all goes quickly and there will be no more ear infections.
Here are a couple of pictures I have on my cell phone. I keep forgetting to get the memory card out of the camera for some other pictures.
Driving daddy's firetruck!
Driving Mommy's car! She likes to drive.
Playing on her "Wing Set."
Another "winging one."
When we took her to the ENT doctor they had a Mr. Potato head that she liked playing with and didn't want to leave behind, so we went and got her one. She likes playing with her, "tato head." She is obsessed with the arms.
Okay so typepad has been doing some overhaul to the blogging and I have no idea how to put a photo album in the side column, so I will just post the Halloween pictures in the post. I also have some pumpkin carving photos to share as well. If I have you on facebook, you may have already seen them though.
She is warming up to the idea of sticking her hand in the pumpkin and taking out the goo.
She got a kick out of it real quick and wanted a "poon" to start scraping with me. Then when we got it all out she wanted to put it back in.
We were all laughing and having a good time, and this was her doing her fake laugh, which would make us laugh harder, and the cycle just kept going. We even had a pumpkin seed fight and she didn't get grossed out. She was also really cheezing it up for the camera.
Okay here are some of the Halloween pictures! She was a Pumpkin Princess and a cute one at that!
Oh wait here is one more of her hamming it up for camera, now on to Halloween.
Who stole the candy, from the candy jar?
Mom, Dillon and I took Madison to the pumpkin patch for pictures this past weekend. She was semi cooperative in getting pictures, and we did get some good shots. We also found several fall festivals to go to and walk around. We went to a church festival later that night also and had BBQ for supper. Madison also went into a bounce house for the first time, and really seemed to have fun. I had one of my younger cousins go with her to help her jump and keep the bigger kids from bouncing on her.
This is my favorite picture of the bunch. She decided she wanted to play peek a boo.
I had her stand next to this pumpkin to show how big it was compared to her.
She was not interested in staying with me to have her picture take and was struggling to run away.
In case you couldn't guess it from the title and picture. Madison is declaring that she is hiding. I love her! LOL
Her new Halloween Teddy bear from Grandpa.
She is showing me her bears "butt."
Grandpa got her this cute dress too. She's playing with her doll house, and putting on her "pretties" aka braclet.
She is holding up her "madson" doll from her dollhouse. When she can't find her she calls out like we do when we are looking for her, "Madson, Madson" and gets louder and louder until she finds her. She does that with the rest of her dollhouse people also.
My daughter has the hardest head known to man! She is layering the bruises on her forehead. She cracked her head on mine tonight, giving her a fresh bump on her head.
She has clear ears from the dr. from this past Friday. I got info for an ENT dr, and will look into visiting him sometime soon. She also had to get a flu shot, and had to make up a shot that the manufacture ran out of at the begining of the year, so she was not happy with the nurse. At first she was mad about the band-aids on her legs and then about an hour later when I took them off, she was mad I had taken them away. LOL
Oh she is also cussing like a sailor. Oh wait that's my husband she just mimicks everything he says now. It's great, I can't wait for the letters home from daycare. I noticed the other day that I thought I heard her say shit, but wasn't sure until the Cowboys were playing today and Loren was watching the game. Yep she can say shit.
There's a nice cool breeze and I've got all the windows open. We've even been getting some rain. Madison is taking a nap right now, but I'm going to have to wake her up early to take her to her dr appt. She's getting her flu shot and her ears rechecked. I'll be asking for a good ENT dr. She wasn't doing well yesterday, but seems better today. Hoping for the best, and I'll update soon.
It's been a busy week, but Sept. is over and things should be slowing down. I'm done with my trainee. I finished my class this week. I only have one more 4 hour class and I can turn in my certificates to get my intermediate and advanced certification for TECLEOSE telecommunication. Madison has another ear infection. Around 5pm yesterday, Friday, she started puling on her ear and saying hurt. So off to Texas Med clinic we went and two hours later we are home with meds and another ear infection. For the most part she is doing well, only a few cranky episodes. We found a little tikes log cabin on craigslist for 40 bucks. It is an awesome deal. The house is in great shape and Madison loves it! This thing usually retails for $300.
She slept in this position for a long time before she curled up on her bed.
I got her some new pj's. Pink fleece with froggies.
Can you say SCARY!! LOL Daycare had her hair in a bunch of ponytails and when I took them out this was the result before I brushed her hair. HEHEHE, this will be a good photo to pull out when the friends come over when she gets older.
I sold most of the baby stuff at weeworld that I had for sale. I did have a bad experience with someone stealing the accessories to a laugh and learn kitchen I had for sale, making it overpriced without the toys so of course that didn't sell, which really bugs me, but I just keep thinking karma will get them. We also found some great deals on a lot of stuff also. We got a wagon, doll house, 2 kid tables (one for outside, and one for her room), lots of clothes and shoes and some books, a yo gabba gabba dance thingamagig all for less than 200 bucks. This is the last sale they are doing, but others are popping up and they are becoming more popular, so there will be more opportunites to sell and buy for cheap.
Madison is learning shapes and colors quickly. She knows, star, heart, circle, and is working on square and triangle. The colors she knows are, white, yellow, orange, green, pink, purple, and blue. She knows red sometimes, I think she gets it confused with pink so it throws her off. She knows how to say her name also, but when you ask her what her name is she won't say it. She will only say it if you say, say Madison, and then she will say it, but it sounds like Madson. Her doll house has 4 people and she calls them, Mommy, Daddy, Madson, and mimmy (timmy). When she can't find one of them she hollars for them like when shes wandering the house looking for one of us. It is to funny.
The weather has been awesome these last couple of days, cool in the morning and not to hot in the afternoon. It's supposed to get hot again next week, but we've been enjoying it while we can. Lots of outside time. I took Madison to the park yesterday after work and got these pictures of her on the slide. She will go down the slide by herself know, but does not want to use the stairs to get back up she insists on climbing back up the slide.
She is showing me her elbow. She's obsessed with elbows right now.
